Hey Reader, At the end of 2025, I offered a series of aerial theory masterclasses. One of them, That's a Wrap!, was on wrap theory! In this class, I laid down the foundations of how I teach wrap theory: I talked about what I call "wrap families", the 4 types of knee hooks, basic ways to put on a take off wraps, and what I consider "fundamental" wraps. And while this class was presented on sling, the theory and ideas discussed are the same across all apparatus that you can wrap on! Well, it turns out that I was a bit overly enthusiastic when I was preparing for the class, because we absolutely did not cover all the material I had to share! So I'm back now with Part 2 of the class. This class will cover more complex wraps, including crossback straddles, boomerangs/armbreakers, stacking wraps, and I'll be breaking down some of the theory-based sequences I've created over the years. And if you're interested, but you didn't purchase the first class and worried that you won't be able to keep up with the class, you'll have to opportunity to purchase Part 1 when you go to sign up for Part 2! That's a Wrap! Part 2 will be March 9th at 10am PDT live on Zoom. And yes, you'll get the recording if you can't attend live! Check it out and sign up here! And if you've got questions, email me back! I'll answer them! Love, Lauren |
